PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating a microorganism in hot bath water without depositing an organic substance inside a bath in the device, enabling contact of a large amount of hot water on the surface of a photocatalyst carrier and capable of stably carrying out microorganism separation action and cleaning action. SOLUTION: The device includes a casing 65 having a hot water inflow port 74 and a hot water outflow port 75, and an ultraviolet lamp 66 inserted into this casing 65. A plurality of bead-like photocatalyst carriers 67 are placed so as to cover the surrounding of the ultraviolet lamp 66. In the casing 65, an inside hot water flow path 82a arranged with the photocatalyst carrier 67 and an outside hot water flow path 82b not arranged with the photocatalyst carrier 67 are provided. The bath hot water flowing from the hot water inflow port 74 in the casing 65 is circulated to the inside hot water flow path 82a and the outside hot water flow path 82b, and outflows from the hot water outflow port 75.
