The module has a chip housing with a housing body that has cavities (10, 12). Spectroscopic sensor chip-arrangement (26) and humidity measuring chip (75) are fastened in the cavities, respectively. A housing cover is placed on the housing body and has an opening above the arrangement and chip. A passivation unit is attached in the cavity (10) and covers contact surfaces of the housing and contact regions of the arrangement and chip. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a component module.
