An LCD is provided to improve image quality by setting an image frame as a specific gray image during a portion of a vertical blanking period of a data enable signal. A liquid crystal capacitor(Clc) is disposed at each region where gate lines(G1, Gn) and data lines(D1, Dm) intersect each other. A storage capacitor(Cst) maintains a voltage stored in the liquid crystal capacitor. A frame controller(50) controls a voltage of the storage capacitor during a portion of a vertical blanking period. The frame controller includes a signal generator generating a signal supplied to the storage capacitor, and a switch controlling signal supply from the signal generator. |
