<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming system with high convenience for users. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming section for forming an image; an original reading section capable of reading an original in parallel with the operation of the image forming section and reading the original by sequentially moving a read position; and a controller that can selectively executes first control wherein the speed for moving the read position by the original read section slows down when the image forming section executes a prescribed image forming operation or second control wherein the image forming by the image forming section is not started when the reading is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
