ADSORBENT, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALCOHOL OR ORGANIC ACID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent manufactured by utilizing a biomass residue, a method for manufacturing the adsorbent and a method for producing alcohol or an organic acid by using the adsorbent.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the adsorbent comprises a step of drying or carbonizing the biomass residue to be generated at the step of producing alcohol or the organic acid from raw material biomass. The adsorbent is manufactured by this method. The method for producing alcohol or the organic acid from raw material biomass comprises a step of utilizing the adsorbent.
