<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a mail address by estimating an appropriate mail address from a destination described in a mail text even when a plurality of same family names are described in a mail text field or registered in an address book. <P>SOLUTION: When a character string is inputted to a text field 6b, an address specifying means 2 detects the name of a user from the inputted character string and the name is specified as an address. Then a user retrieval means 3 retrieves the users having the name specified as the address from the address book. A destination determination means 4 determines the user to be the destination from the detected users.
