PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the quick delivery of merchandise by performing quick settlement.

SOLUTION: An account system 202 including the bank account of a buyer comprises a step for receiving a transfer request from the bank account of the buyer to the bank account of a seller with the merchandise information of merchandise, a step for, when the transfer request has been accepted by the account system 202, transmitting acceptance information including transfer information and merchandise information relating to the transfer request to a physical distribution management system 201 and a step for updating a settlement chain management table 213 stored in the physical distribution management system 201 into contents showing that settlement has been concluded based on the acceptance information. The physical distribution management system 201 outputs the settlement chain management table 213 to the seller and the buyer so as to be browsed.
