PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for tempering treatment of a glass sheet, which can perform the tempering treatment of a glass sheet uniformly and efficiently regardless of the form of the glass sheet while suppressing the influence on the area of a non-treated part of the glass surface to the minimum; and to provide the glass sheet. SOLUTION: The apparatus for tempering treatment of the glass sheet has a means for blowing an atomized or powdery tempering agent onto the cut part of the glass sheet; an irradiation means for irradiating the treating part, onto which the tempering agent is blown, with a heating light; and a means for relatively moving the blowing means and the irradiation means, and the glass sheet along the cut part.
