PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetite particles having excellent dispersibility without basically depending on the incorporation of a component other than the magnetite. SOLUTION: In the magnetite particles having an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.5μm, the most frequent diameter of void diameter distribution between particles is not more than 1/2 of the average particle diameter.
