PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing frozen confectionery equipped with a beating/mixing means having a beating performance where optimum overrun can be obtained through surely scraping off frozen confectionery adhering to the inner wall of a cylinder and uniformly mixing a desired amount of air into the frozen confectionery. SOLUTION: The device for producing frozen confectionery where the mixture in a cooling cylinder is cooled while beaten/mixed together with air, is provided with a beating unit kneading the solid part of the sequentially solidified mixture, and the mixture and the air while beating/mixing them, and scraping off the solid part adhering to the peripheral surface in the cooling cylinder; providing with a beating blade 41 rotating along the inner peripheral surface of the cooling cylinder having recessed parts 90 on the beating unit.
