PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine that can prevent the wear of a bearing, and the damage and the breakage of a rotating shaft by reducing a bearing current without deteriorating the efficiency of the rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: An insulated sleeve 11 formed by wrapping the whole surfaces of static blocking layers 15 each formed by processing a non-magnetic conductor into a strip shape with insulating layers 12 is arranged between a coil 4 and a slot 23, both ends 27 in the short-side direction 16 of the insulated sleeve 11 are arranged and fixed so as to block an opening 24 of the slot, and passages of currents that flow to laminated plates 21a, 21b,... 21x from the static blocking layers 15 by conduction-connecting the static blocking layers 15 to a stator 2 at one point 27 are made not to form loops that intersect with teeth 22a, 22b formed of ferromagnetic substances, thus obtaining the rotating electric machine that can prevent electrical corrosion by static-blocking the coil and a rotor without deteriorating energy conversion efficiency.
