When the valve is closed, the pre-loading component (17) rests against the valve flap (15) over the entire width of the opening (16) or flap. In this state, the component rests near the opening on the connected- or hinged side of the valve flap. When the valve is opened, the component slides down the valve flap, which becomes increasingly biased towards the opening, at its free end. Resilience inherent in the valve flap, biases it against the opening. A resilient or flexible section (6) encloses a pump chamber (P) for the fluid. Reversible deformation of the flexible section, pumps fluid (2) from the chamber, through the outlet valve (8). Fluid is then drawn from the container (3) into the chamber by suction, as the flexible section returns to its original shape. The valve flap is integral with the resilient section.
|
