SEAT WITH BUILT-IN SPEAKER AND PERSONAL SOUND FIELD SYSTEM

A seat with a built-in speaker, where a woofer for bass is placed inside a seating section, a duct extending to ear positions is connected to the woofer, and a sound of a low frequency component outputted from the woofer is outputted from the ear positions via the duct, thereby reproduction efficiency of a bass range is improved and a person seated on the seat is provided with comfort. Further, a sound field is formed by speakers built-in in a seat and by a front speaker, the speakers built-in in a seat being a speaker for bass and a speaker for mid and treble. Then, reverberation processing and frequency characteristics conversion processing are applied to an audio signal outputted to the front speaker and the speaker for mid and treble. This causes a sound image to be positioned in front of the head of a person seated on the seat with the built-in speakers. As a result, a person seated on the seat is provided with a comfortable personal sound field.
