<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a boot by a boot controller even if a semiconductor integrated circuit incorporating a processor and a semiconductor integrated circuit not incorporating a processor are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: This processor device having the processor, and a memory and an internal register used in the processor, boot-controlled from the boot controller through a communication part has a control means setting the internal register by a scan chain, by a boot requirement from the boot controller, thereafter starting the processor to decide the possibility/impossibility of the boot to the memory, and notifying the boot controller about the decision result through the communication part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
