<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply device for mixing water and hot water stored in a hot water storage tank to supply warm water while avoiding the discharge of high-temperature warm water when starting the supply of the warm water. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water supply device S comprises the hot water storage tank T having a heating part H inside, a water supply pipe 1 connected to the lower part of the hot water storage tank T, a hot water supply pipe 2 connected to the upper part of the hot water storage tank T, a bypass pipe 3 provided on the way of the water supply pipe 1 via a branch part 4, a hot water-water mixing means 7 via which the bypass pipe 3 is connected to the hot water supply pipe 5, and a warm water supply pipe 6 for feeding warm water generated by the hot water-water mixing means 7. An uppermost end K of a mixing part 5 of the hot water-water mixing means 7 is set to be lower than an lowermost end L of the heating part H of the hot water storage tank T. Natural convection with a specific gravity difference between the hot water and the water causes the temperature rise of the water only in the hot water supply pipe 2, thus preventing the temperature rise of water in the mixing part 5 and the bypass pipe 3.
