PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To silence noises generated in driving a motor. SOLUTION: This motor drive device is equipped with a control circuit for performing sequential switching between an operation of a first source transistor and a second sink transistor and an operation of a second source transistor and a first sink transistor to supply current in different directions sequentially to a coil connected between a serial connection point of the first source transistor and the first sink transistor and a serial connection point of the second source transistor and the second sink transistor. The control circuit includes a limitation circuit for limiting current flowing through at least either the serial connection point of the first source transistor and the first sink transistor or the serial connection point of the second source transistor and the second sink transistor, at the timing of a switching operation between an operation of the first source transistor and the second sink transistor and an operation of the second source transistor and the first sink transistor.
