PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logic solver as the arithmetic part of a programmable controller for performing not only absolute jump but also relative jump and its arithmetic method. SOLUTION: A program counter area 11 and a program status word area 12 are placed in a register area 10, and the value of the program counter area 11 is read as a register, and a fixed value is added to the read value of the program counter area 11, and the added value is written in the program counter area 11 based on the information of a result register 6 acquired from a program status word area 12.
