PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner particles having excellent low temperature fixing performance and a wide offset-resistant temperature region although the particle has a simple structure, and to provide a apparatus and a method of manufacturing toner particles suitable for manufacturing the above toner particles. SOLUTION: The toner particle 3 has such a structure that a wax component 1 is present in a concentrated state (as blocks in the longitudinal direction) within the particle, a part of the wax component 1 (the end face in the longitudinal direction) in the particle is exposed to the outside or covered with a thin layer of other toner source material 2 to be in contact with an external substance. The method for manufacturing the toner particles is carried out by preparing a fibrous material having a cross sectional structure with the wax component present in the center part, and then pulverizing the fibrous material.
