PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra slim high-luminance light panel allowed to be illuminated, so that the whole screen has ultra-high luminance and uniform brightness and having light-weight and compact structure allowed to be directly connected to an AC power supply. SOLUTION: Power from the AC power supply 7 is input to ultra-high luminance LEDs 5 through LED lighting circuit parts 6 for converting an alternating current into power of an approximately direct current and high voltage. Outputs from the LEDs 5 are input to a light diffusing light guide plate 1 consisting of a synthetic resin material having a specific shape and formed on an image display part 4, the input light becomes diffused light through linear bodies 2 and the diffused light uniformly illuminates a display film 10 at ultra-high luminance through a reflector 11.
