PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fixing member which can easily correct deviation in the optical axis of an optical fiber and has high reliability for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The optical fiber fixing member is constituted of bending parts which are formed by providing notches 22 in a metallic plate 20, a holding part 21 which bends the bending parts and holds an optical fiber from both sides, and the metallic plate 20 which uses the parts of the metallic plate 20 other than the bending parts as a fixing part 23. Consequently, the optical fiber can be fixed stably with the simple constitution. Moreover, since the upper part of an area holding the optical fiber is open, the height of the fixing member can be made short. Further, since the notches are provided to the metallic plate to form the bending parts, weldable areas can be increased, and correction of the deviation in the optical axis can be facilitated.
