PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc storage case which offers an antiglare effect given by the formation of a satin pattern on the surface of the storage case, and still allows clear visual recognition of an image of a label on a recoding medium, etc. SOLUTION: A lid of the optical disc storage case has a satin like surface counter to the recording medium, thereby shortening the distance between the satin pattern 11 and a labeled surface of the recording medium. The satin pattern 11 formed on the surface of the storage case lid facing the optical disc exerts an antiglare effect, thereby softening the expression of a label image formed on the labeled surface of the optical disc. A shorter distance between the satin pattern 11 and the labeled surface of the recording medium reduces the blur of the image on the labeled surface due to the satin pattern 11, thereby enabling clear visual recognition of characters, image, etc expressed on the labeled surface.
