PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a decorative processed product capable of developing a higher decorative effect using a relatively small amount of a decorative material, and the decorative processed product. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the decorative processed product 5 has an adhesive layer-forming process for forming an adhesive layer 3 on the surface of a base material 1, a decorative material-bonding process for bonding decorative materials 2, which have decorative surfaces provided at least on a part of their surfaces, to the surface of the base material 1 in an erected state, an tilting process for tilting the bonded decorative materials 2 along the surface of the base material 1 and a coating process for applying coating to the surfaces of the tilted decorative materials 2 along the surface of the base material 1.
