PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing device as a micro device having a sharper residence time distribution. SOLUTION: The mixing device for mixing fluids has: a planar flow passage (10) for making fluids flow from the upstream side thereof toward the downstream side; a first fluid inflow port (18) which is positioned on the upstream side of the planar flow passage and in which a first fluid is made to flow; a second fluid inflow port (20) which is positioned on the downstream side of the first fluid inflow port and in which a second fluid is made to flow; and a side vena contracta part (22) which is positioned on the downstream side of the second fluid inflow port and formed by dividing the planar flow passage. The second fluid inflow port has a plurality of hole-bored parts communicated with the planar flow passage. The arrangement profile of the plurality of hole-bored parts is projected into the flow direction of the bulk of the fluids in the planar flow passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
