The device has a processor which is arranged such that the automatic identification of a flow/current unit in a recorded image is performed during the wind tunnel reading. A recording mechanism is arranged for recording the image of the flow unit on a to be analyzed object. A display device is provided for representing the recorded image of the flow init and/or the objects.
