<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical means capable of superbly remote-controlling an up-and-down hanging type lighting fixture without degrading the product management efficiency of a lighting fixture body even if the body is lifted. <P>SOLUTION: In the up-and-down hanging type lighting fixture provided with a suspension-holding base 2 installed on a ceiling face, and a fixture body 3 hung down from the suspension-holding base 2 in free up-and-down movement and electrically connected with the suspension holding base 2 with a horizontal projection area of the body 3 formed larger than that of the suspension-holding part 2, the suspension-holding part 2 is provided with an acoustic control means equipped with a mike 11 and a voice recognition part.
