<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for a syringe which can discriminate between an internal hemorrhoid tissue and a rectal muscular layer under the above tissue by a difference in the penetration resistance when a medicine is injected into the internal hemorrhoid tissue. <P>SOLUTION: A pointed end of a needle tube 1 is polished at an angle with respect to its axial center C and the polished plane is made to be a blade plane 4. The blade plane 4 has a first inclined plane 6 at a basal side and a pair of second inclined planes 7 at both the sides of the pointed end side. A second angle of inclination which is formed by the second inclined plane 7 and the axial center C is made to be larger than a first angle of inclination which is formed by the first inclined plane 6 and the axial center C.
