INTAGLIO PLATE FOR TRANSFER FOR FORMATION OF COLOR FILTER, AND METHOD FOR FORMING LIGHT SHIELDING LAYER OF COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling of an intaglio plate for transfer to be used for forming a color material portion or a light shielding portion of a color filter on a large glass substrate by a back face exposure method.

SOLUTION: A reinforcing material 6 comprising a plastic film or cloth which transmits light at an exposure wavelength is laminated to a glass substrate as a supporting substrate of an intaglio plate with an adhesive 5 which transmits light at the exposure wavelength. The size of the reinforcing material is prepared to be larger than the glass substrate so as to attach a handling tool or the like to the protruding portion.
