<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, a display control method and a display control program making it possible to easily determine that selected elements are focused. <P>SOLUTION: A comparison reference area specifying part 13 specifies the surrounding areas of the boundaries of selected elements when the selected elements are those for referring to an image file containing image data. A focus color control part 17 determines the focus colors of the selected elements on the basis of the colors of the surrounding areas specified.
