<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact air conditioner capable of cleaning an air filter automatically. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with the filter device 31 constituted by providing a filter frame 1 for supporting an air filter 2, a movable suction nozzle 3, and a suction device 6 and connecting the suction nozzle 3 with the suction device 6 by a bendable suction duct 5 and composed of a belt-like steel plate 19 provided along the suction duct 5.
