<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a touch panel, enabling use of a further wide area as an input area without impairing the durability or electric characteristic of a panel and facilitating the manufacture, and a touch panel obtained thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a touch panel comprises arranging a fixed substrate 11 and a movable substrate 15 each having electrode parts 17 on a pair of opposed sides forming frame parts 12 and 16 and insulating parts 14 on the other pair of opposed sides in opposition to each other so that each pair of opposed electrode parts 17 is orthogonal, and adhering the electrode parts 17 and the insulating parts 14 through adhesive materials 20 so as to form a gap (a) on the inside of the frame parts 12 and 16. The electrode part 17 of the movable substrate 15 is formed so that the inside end thereof is located on the outer circumference side from the inside end of the adhesive material 20, and adhesion of the electrode part 17 to the adhesive material 20 is performed in a state that the electrode part 17 and the adhesive material 20 are relatively shifted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
