PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for manufacturing a permanent-magnet rotor (10) in an electrical apparatus. SOLUTION: An array of a permanent-magnet segment (28) is assembled around a rotor spindle (24). A desired magnetic orientation direction (29) of the permanent magnet segment (28) is determined. Then, the permanent-magnet segment (28) to be assembled is arranged within a fixing device for magnetization so that the desired magnetic orientation direction (29) of the permanent magnet segment (28) aligns with the direction of a corresponding magnetic flux (74) of the fixing device for the magnetization (44).
