PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container switch which relatively, easier, efficiently and speedily can open/close the container. SOLUTION: This is the container switch which has a slidable shutter type closing means to open/close any passing container. The switch is provided with a rotatable shaft which contains a vertical axis in the shutter traveling direction and is energized in any direction of rotation, a drive unit which bidirectionally moves the shaft from the remote position to a near position of the container for opening/closing, and an extended section which expands, along at least a part of the shaft so as to enter orbit of movement outward from the shaft and is engaged with the shutter-type closing means of the container to move it from open position to close the position and vice versa. Additionally, a reagent source for autoanalyzer comprises the reagent source itself, equipped with the container having the shutter-type closing means which slides between the open position and the close position, and a system for opening/closing the container.
