PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-dimensional liquid chromatograph capable of efficiently guiding a component eluted from a column on one dimension side to a column on two dimension side. SOLUTION: Injection timing of injecting electrolytic solution from a sample injecting means is set at a time before a changing time to a cleaning process by an analysis duration sufficient for eluting the sample component from a first separation column and transporting it to a trap column. Thus, the period when the sample component is held in the trap column can be made shortest, and the outflow of the sample component occurring during holding the trap column can be minimized.
