PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting type centrifugal barrel polishing device excellent in machining efficiency of beveling a vibrator piece mainly made of a piezoelectric blank, and a machining container therefor. SOLUTION: The tilting type centrifugal barrel polishing device is provided with a revolution plate 2 revolving around a revolution shaft 1, a rotation shaft 3 provided to the revolution plate, a machining container holder 4 rotating around the rotation shaft, the machining container fixedly held in the container holder, a driving motor for independently turning the revolution shaft and the rotation shaft or for turning them in conjunction with each other and for controlling a rotating direction, rotational frequency, and rotation time, and a driving rotation mechanism. An angle to the rotation shaft of the machining container holder to the revolution shaft can be changed and/or an installation angle of the machining container in the machining container holder can be changed. A shape of the machining container is nearly cylindrical. Both end corner parts of the machining container are composed of an R-machining part having a prescribed curvature smaller than a cylindrical diameter of the machining container and a planar part and have a structure sealed with a lid.
