PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device of small heat loss, capable of surely generating nucleus and allowing a heat medium to uniformly flow in a heat storage tank. SOLUTION: In a heat reservoir filled with a latent heat storage material, a cross-sectional area of a part cooled to release supercooling of the heat storage material is smaller than a part not cooled, a part of small cross-sectional area exists on the other ends besides the part of large cross-sectional area of the heat reservoir, and further the flow of heat medium in the heat storage tank is unified by a perforated supporting plate.
