PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper device which permits simultaneous replacement of a drop-in type roll paper and an ink cartridge, and alleviates a roll paper feeding load and effective utilization of the core space of the roll paper, and a roll paper unit or the like. SOLUTION: The roll paper device comprises a roll paper mounting portion 16 formed in an inkjet printer 1, the roll paper unit 18 to be dropped in the roll paper mounting portion 16. The roll paper unit 18 has a roll paper 19 in which a printing paper is wound around the core C, a roll paper case 21 having shell portions 41, 43, 44 and 45 storing the roll paper 19 and a tube portion 42 pivoting the roll paper 19, and an ink cartridge 22 mounted on the tube portion 42.
