PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder allowing an ink supply needle to be inserted into and pulled out from and an ink cartridge to be loaded at an accurate position to ensure communication with an attached storage means and an ink storage quantity to be readily changed while seeking after commonness in parts. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge comprises a bottomed box-shaped container body 2' with an ink supply port 4' formed therein and a cover body 3 for sealing the opening of the container body 2'. The ink cartridge stores a different kind of ink, and individual ink cartridges are loaded on the inkjet recorder as a set. The ink supply port 4' and members (5' and 7') in cooperation with the inkjet recorder, are arranged in the same relative position making the side faces of the container body 2' as a reference.
