PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a high-definition organic EL display panel free from display defects caused by the break of a negative electrode layer, in which a color mixture caused by the spread of an organic luminescent ink over an adjacent pixel electrode is prevented when the ink made by dissolving or stably dispersing an organic luminescent material into a solvent is applied to a region to be printed that is a pixel electrode partitioned by a barrier rib. SOLUTION: By forming an insulating layer with a height of 0.5μm or more and 5μm or less between the pixel electrodes, and the printing organic luminescent ink made by dissolving or stably dispersing an organic luminescent material into a solvent on the pixel electrode partitioned by the insulating layers by letterpress printing to form an organic luminescent layer, the organic EL display of high definition can be obtained without display defects caused by the color mixture, the break of the negative electrode layers, or the like.
