PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductivity metallic board having both a high strength and a high 2-axis orientation. SOLUTION: In a strip material composed of an alloy layer constituted of an alloy of either Ni, Co, Fe or Cu and a Ni layer as an outer layer of the alloy layer, the above-mentioned Ni layer surfaceä100} is almost parallel to the rolling surface of the strip composite material and an axis <001> is substantially parallel to the rolling direction of the strip composite material. A two-axis orientation polycrystalline metallic board has the above-mentioned Ni layer constituted of Ni of purity 99.9% or higher with its thickness of 1 to 50 micrometers. A two-axis orientation polycrystalline metallic board has the Ni layer formed of Ni of purity 99.95% or higher. The alloy layer is made from either Ni, Co, Fe, or Cu to which one or a plurality of elements of Mo, W, Cr, V , Mn or Al are added, with its doping density being 1 to 15 at%.
