PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk capable of generating a tracking error signal without grating and preventing the generation of the offset or crosstalk of the tracking error signal. SOLUTION: In the optical disk device, eight or more divided light receiving areas are formed to constitute a photodetector 3, and a tracking error signal and a focusing error signal are generated by calculation of equations: tracking error signal=(A2+D2)-(B2+C2)-K1(A1+D1)-(B1+C1), and focusing error signal=(A2+C2)-(B2+D2)-K2(A1+C1)-(B1+D1).
