<p>Tiltable parasol support comprising a support shaft, a head portion, ribs connected to the head portion, a cover connected to the ribs, stretchers connected to a runner that is slidable and rotatably mounted on the support shaft, and a hinge disposed between the ribs and the stretchers and connecting the support shaft and the head portion. The angle (alfa) between the axis of rotation (8) of the hinge (7) and the longitudinal axis of the head portion (2) and angle (beta) between the axis of rotation (8) of the hinge (7) and the longitudinal axis of support shaft (1) are less than 45°, the hinge (7) tilts the head portion (2) by rotating the head portion (2) relative to the support shaft (1), the hinge (7) is self-locking with respect to the tilting torque arising between the head portion (2) and the support shaft (1), and by that there is such torque-transfer connection between the head portion (2) and the ribs (3) or between the head portion (2) and the cover (4) attached to the ribs (3) which makes it possible to adjust the tilt angle of the parasol by rotating the head portion (2) with respect to the support shaft (1).<U/></p> |
