The present invention relates to a housing frame escutcheon plate located on the exposed part thereof once it has been fitted in the window frame in such a way that the escutcheon plate can be secured by inserting angled flanges into apertures in the frame, thereby dispensing with the use of screws that remain visible and adversely affect the outward appearance of the escutcheon plate, in addition to the fact that the thickness of the paint on the wall to which the escutcheon plate is applied is no longer a concern since clipping the frame to the housing in the conventional manner is impossible when the wall has multiple paint layers in addition to any unevenness.
