PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

A plasma display panel is provided to improve luminous brightness of a discharge cell by removing a non-discharge region according to an electrode position of a discharge cell. A front and rear substrates(20,10) are arranged opposite to each other. A plurality of barrier ribs(16) are formed in a space between the front and rear substrates in order to define a plurality of discharge cells(18). A plurality of address electrodes(12) are formed in a cross direction across the discharge cells. A first and second sustain electrodes(21a,21b) are formed across the address electrodes. A plurality of scan electrodes are formed between the first and second sustain electrodes. A dielectric layer(28) is disposed to bury the first and second sustain electrodes and the scan electrodes. The discharge cells are filled with discharge gas including Xe gas of 10 to 15 weight percent.
