<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize light and efficient reflection display and transmission display on a transflection-type liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has a first substrate and a second substrate provided with electrodes, respectively; pixel parts are formed at intersections of the electrodes; a liquid crystal layer is provided between the first substrate and second substrate; each pixel part is equipped with a reflecting film and a color filter 11; the reflecting film is provided with an aperture part 15 transmitting light in the pixel part; the color filter is provided with an aperture part 14 having large transmissivity for light in the pixel part; the color filter 11 is provided inside the pixel part, where the color filter overlaps with the aperture part 15 of the reflecting film; and the reflecting film is provided, where the reflecting film overlaps with the aperture part 14 of the color filter 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
