<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device with which suppresses the generation of stripe unevenness of the surface of a liquid crystal panel in rubbing treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A dummy panel part 31 is formed on a mother substrate 10. The dummy panel part 31 is disposed between liquid crystal panel parts and between the liquid crystal panel part and an end of the mother substrate 10. The dummy panel part 31 has the same constitution as a color filter 2. Thereby, the surface state such as hardness of the whole mother substrate 10 is made uniform. As a result, the generation of stripe unevenness caused by difference of the surface state of the parts between the liquid crystal panel parts and between the liquid crystal panel part and the end of the mother substrate 10 from the surface state of the liquid crystal panel part in rubbing treatment can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
