PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified urgent earthquake alarm system capable of issuing an alarm just before earthquake generation to enable protection of a body, and realizing the operation simply. SOLUTION: This system includes a vibration sensor 1 capable of detecting a P-wave which is one of earthquake waves; a sound emitter 2 for issuing an earthquake alarm; and a controller 3 for controlling so that the sound emitter 2 issues an earthquake alarm, when it is determined that the vibration is a vibration having a level in a specific range set beforehand for P-wave specification, and having a frequency in a specific range.
