PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reminiscence video with narration to be created relatively easily in accordance with meta-information. SOLUTION: A video content creating apparatus 10 includes a computer 12. The computer 12 registers photographic image data inputted from a photographic data input device 20 and meta-information set in relation to the data, in a database 22. After retrieving photographs based on the meta-information, the apparatus selects photographs to be used for the reminiscence video and decides the reproduction order of the photographs. After registering a BGM playlist, the apparatus reproduces the photographs and BGM for creating the reminiscence video. During or after creation (rendering) of a series of reminiscence video contents, the computer 12 creates a narration text based on the meta-information and registers voice data according with the narration text, in the database 22 together with photographic image data, whereby video contents like the reminiscence video are created by saving the rendering results in, for example, Flash movie format.
