PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device of hubs for taking up magnetic recording medium, for efficiently and accurately mounting the hubs to a take-up shaft. SOLUTION: The mounting device comprises: the hubs 18 winding up a magnetic tape cut into a long film shape; the take-up shaft 17 inserted into a plurality of the hubs so that the hubs are arranged at a regular interval, and having one end detachably fixed; taper blocks 49 supporting the other end, which is not supported, of the take-up shaft 17; lineup boxes 47 in which one to ten hubs 18 are housed; and a robot arm 44 moving the lineup boxes 47, and inserting the hubs 18 housed in the lineup boxes 47 into the take-up shaft 17 while fitting positions of the hubs 18 with the position of the take-up shaft 17.
