LINEAR ACTUATOR

The linear actuator is provided with a rotor and a stator. The rotor comprises at least two stacks of superposed, permanent-magnetic rods, the stacks being spaced apart by a defined distance. The stator is at least partially produced from a soft-magnetic material and comprises at least two pairs of teeth with opposite teeth, every pair of teeth receiving one of the two stacks between them while forming an air gap. The stator has at least two magnetically conducting inner areas which are located between the two stacks and which are spaced apart by a defined distance in the direction or rotation of the rotor. The inner areas are at least partially surrounded by respective substantially hollow-cylindrical coil arrangements the central longitudinal axis of which is oriented substantially at an angle to the direction of rotation of the rotor.
