<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the oral cavity which has excellent GTase (glucosyltransferase) inhibitory actions, suppressing the formation of dental plaques and thereby effectively preventing dental caries. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for the oral cavity is prepared by using an extract from a leaf part, a stem part, a root part or a mixture thereof in a plant of the genus Vitis of the family Vitaceae. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
